The origins of Hackwood Farm go back more than 200 years and we are dedicated to protecting and nurturing its family run working farm heritage. This is demonstrated by our ever growing variety of livestock including sheep, chickens, ducks and our much loved Pietrain x Gloucester Old Spot pigs.

In addition, our farm also has the benefit of 10 stables with livery and a traditional orchard containing a well established

Hackwood Farm Courtyard

range of old variety apple, pear and damson trees which are harvested to produce homemade jams, chutneys, pies and crumbles.

Our passion to offer local produce of the highest quality also helps to celebrate everything that is wonderful about rural Derbyshire - from its mouthwatering food to its beautiful countryside and unique history.

Childrens Farm

Did you know we now have a small children's farm at Hackwood!

It's important to us that children have an opportunity to see, hear and smell farm animals and understand where their food comes from.

Neil, Georgina and all the animals look forward to welcoming you.
Animal feed available to buy.
